Guided tours are available at any time by appointment over the phone—continuously during opening hours
Friday afternoons, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, as well as from July 18 through 31, by appointment over the phone

Waidhofen an der Thaya is home to the largest bald ibis aviary in the world. Feeding the bald ibis is a unique experience. The endangered ibis species has found a home in Waidhofen.
The Northern Bald Ibis project is being followed worldwide and has received great international recognition from renowned experts.
