If you have a health concern, you will receive expert and personal advice. Helpful recommendations and suitable products can be tailored to individual needs and taken directly home.
Hermann-Josef Weidinger's commitment and his love of nature are the reason for the special center for medicinal herbs. Herbalist Benedikt and a dedicated team continue the life's work of Hermann-Josef Weidinger (+2004).
The whole thing is supported by the "Friends of Medicinal Herbs" association with almost 10,000 members. The quarterly magazine is called "Ringelblume" and provides information on the use and effects of medicinal plants as well as on a natural way of life and encourages people to respect the miracle of creation. The team will be happy to send you a free copy of this association magazine.
From May to October, admission and tour tickets for a visit to Geras Abbey can also be purchased in our store. Marvel at the impressive marble hall, the magnificent imperial room, the corridor gallery and many other interesting areas of the monastery on a guided tour. Experience the special atmosphere!
The large herb garden next door with a fantastic view of the abbey invites you to discover and linger. The herb garden is freely accessible from May to October and can be visited at your leisure. Numerous medicinal herbs and aromatic plants grow in the lovingly laid out beds - an educational trail for anyone interested. The garden reveals its full splendor, especially in the summer months from June to August, when many herbs are in full bloom and release their intense fragrance.
